
Justin had his first cross country flight yesterday...no he did not fly to New York. Basically it meant, he flew to Nephi and back. I don't know why they call it cross-country. But nonetheless, it took about three hours to complete the trip. He had to stop at the airport in Provo, Nephi and then Delta. For this flight he was in charge of planning out the whole trip. It took him about two days to plan it out. I guess there is a lot of work that goes into these things. I thought you just got in the plane and away you went! Apparently you have to map out what altitude and speed you are going to be out for different portions of the flight. Way confusing. Anyways, he has two more that he has to do and then one solo cross-country to Wendover. Here are some pictures his instructor took of him when he did his first solo flight. It still freaks me out that he is in that tiny of a plane!
